Three component projects on pelagic nekton are presented.

First subm. 09.02.2006. A workshop on post-processing of acoustic data was held in Bergen 23-28 January 2006.

Workshop on Satellite Telemetry (02 Feb 2007 16:56)
First subm. 07.02.2006. A MAR-ECO workshop on satellite telemetry was held in Horta, the Azores, 30-31 January 2006.

The 16th Biennial Conference on the Biology of Marine Mammals (02 Feb 2007 16:56)
First subm. 29.12.2005. The MAR-ECO PN3 (marine mammals and seabird) subgroup participated at the conference.

PN1 fish taxonomy workshop and meetings (02 Feb 2007 16:56)
First subm. 18.11.2005. A workshop on pelagic fish taxonomy was held Oct 5-15, 2005, at the Bergen Museum.

Hamburg Pelagic Fishes Database available to MAR-ECO users (02 Feb 2007 16:57)
First subm. 11.05.2005. The database HamPelFish containing data collected by the Institute for Sea Fisheries of the Federal Research Institute for Fisheries, Hamburg, Germany, is now available for use by MAR-ECO partners.

Russian papers on Ichthyofauna (02 Feb 2007 16:57)
First subm. 13.12.2004. Two papers on North Atlantic fish fauna, by Efim Kukuev and A. Gushchin, are presented and can be downloaded.

PN1 fish taxonomy workshop and meetings at the Bergen Museum (02 Feb 2007 16:57)
First subm. 09.12.2004. During the workshop Drs. Sutton and Porteiro identified a total of 1270 fish specimens.

Cephalopods from the mid-Atlantic Ridge (07 May 2008 11:39)
Cephalopods from the Biscay-Azores Ridge and the mid-Atlantic Ridge were sampled by FRV WALTHER HERWIG II in 1982. Samples have been analyzed by Cornelia Warneke-Cremer, Biozentrum Grindel und Zoologisches Museum, Hamburg.

Pelagic nekton Stable Isotope Work (24 Jan 2008 11:04)
During Dec 10-15, 2007, a workshop was held at the Biology Department, University of Bergen, to conduct work on the stable isotope analysis portion of the MAR-ECO PN2 Trophic Interactions Study.
