“Deeper than Light”,  the international travelling exhibition about the mysterious, amazing and fascinating world of the deep-sea, opens 10 November in Valencia, Spain. The exhibition will be part of the World Conference on Marine Biodiversity being held in Valencia 11-15 November.

“Deeper than Light” was produced by Bergen Museum, Norway and the international research project MAR-ECO, which is part of the global Census of Marine Life (CoML) project.

• To review the current understanding of marine biodiversity, its role in marine ecosystem functioning and its socio-economic context
• To assess current and future threats and potential mitigation strategies for conservation and regulation of marine resources
• To identify future research priorities
